Online Therapy

for anxiety, stress, and overthinking

Viki Dimopoulos

Is anxiety draining you?

The people I work with tend to be men and women in their 20’s and 30’s whose anxiety, stress, and overthinking impact their relationships, work, and other areas of life.

Maybe you appear calm or ‘fine’ to others, but internally you’re feeling stressed and tired. Maybe anxiety gets in the way of what you want or need to do - this may look like procrastinating, struggling to say ‘no’ or what you really mean, or finding it difficult to make decisions because you worry you won’t do things the ‘right’ way. The thoughts and feelings you are experiencing may feel out of control - you may be overthinking, fearing the worst-case scenario or blaming yourself - and this can be overwhelming to navigate alone. Your usual coping strategies may be to stay busy and just push through without asking for help, but this comes at a cost: you’re likely exhausted.

How therapy can help

Therapy can help you free up some mental energy so you don’t feel as drained. Our work is to help you better understand and manage your thoughts and feelings so that they feel less overwhelming. Whether your anxiety has been an ongoing issue or has recently intensified, together we can explore what may be happening under the surface and identify what might need to change.

Here are some common themes that I have experience working through with clients:

  • Overthinking: Mentally replaying or analysing things in tiring or unproductive ways
  • Self doubt: A lack of confidence that impacts your work and/or relationships
  • People-pleasing: Struggling to set boundaries, use your voice, or focus on yourself
  • Procrastination: Avoiding things you want or need to do, perhaps for fear of failure
  • Indecisiveness: Finding it hard to make decisions in case you “get it wrong”
  • Perfectionism: Rarely feeling like “good enough” is actually good enough
  • High-functioning anxiety: Showing competence externally but worrying internally

If you can relate to one of more of the above, it may feel like you are carrying a lot of mental or emotional weight. Therapy can help you start to lift it.

My clients say that working with me has helped them to feel calmer, better equipped to face the challenges in their lives, and more able to approach their relationships and work with clarity and intentionality.

Fees & practical information

Fee: My fee is £95 per 50-minute session. I ask for payment via bank transfer in advance of each session.

Session details: Sessions are held weekly at an agreed time and day on Zoom video call. It’s important that you have a private space to engage in online therapy.

Cancellation policy: I ask for one week’s notice to cancel or reschedule. Because the therapy I offer works best on a weekly basis, I reserve your weekly time slot for you and I charge the full session fee for cancellations and non-attendance, except for up to two “free” cancelled sessions in every 12-month period. These will not incur a charge as long as I have one week’s notice.

Location: Most of my clients are based in the UK or EU but I welcome enquiries from other locations, too. For licensing and insurance reasons, I am unable to work with clients based in the US or Canada.

Availability: I offer sessions Monday-Thursday 8am-3pm (UK time). You can check my current availability .

Next steps

If you’re interested in exploring therapy, the first step is to complete the form using the button below.

Then depending on availability, I’ll email you to arrange a 15-minute introductory call. It’s important that you find a counsellor who is a good fit for you and this initial call can give us both a sense of how we might work together. We can explore what brings you to counselling, what your hopes and expectations are, and whether you have any questions or concerns.

Once you’ve completed the form, I am usually able to get back to you within two working days.
